2024-25 Construction Tax Planning and Accounting Update

Thurs, November 21, 2024, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT

With the uncertainties of election season behind us, late November provides a key opportunity to assess tax planning strategies with greater clarity as to the prospective business environment. Regardless of November’s election outcome, there are several existing tax incentives that can be especially beneficial for contractors, engineering firms, and developers. These include the clean energy and energy efficiency tax credits and deductions provided under Sections 45L, 48, and 179D of the federal tax code. Brandon Val Verde, Jillian Jones, and Amar Patel from KBKG are leading experts on these topics, and they will begin our webinar by outlining each of these opportunities. M&A Tax Senior Manager Kelly Koman will then provide an update on how the post-election tax landscape impacts the industry, while Partner Dan Sturm and Director Tim Showers will wrap up the webinar with key reminders for your year-end accounting close.

Attendees of this McKonly & Asbury Webinar will gain insight on the following:

  • An understanding of existing clean energy efficiency tax savings opportunities available to contractors, engineering firms, and developers.
  • Potential tax planning strategies to consider in a post-election environment.
  • Tips and reminders that will help drive a smooth year-end financial close and reporting process.

This free, one-hour webinar will take place on Thursday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. One “Tax” CPE credit is available for this webinar, as well as CCIFP Credit. The level for this webinar is basic. This program is a live webinar which offers the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the presenters.
