IIA External Quality Assessments and the New Standards

This webinar will provide an overview of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) External Quality Assessment (EQA) of an internal audit function’s Quality Assurance Improvement Program (QAIP). Principal Elaine Nissley and Senior Manager Victor Kong will provide information on the changes coming with the new IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards effective January 2025. They will also discuss the qualifications you should look for in an external quality assessor, as well as define the types of benefits you should expect from your EQA. Elaine and Victor will also define the preparation for and what you should expect from your external quality assessor.
